An SPH-2 helicopter pilot's helmet from the 1950's and early 1960's. Nice shell with painted finish with red and blue striping. Crack in sun shield and partial lining for light usage, but very solid body. Still a very scarce helmet and would be very easy to refit as it was done every day during it's use period. Hardly any two helmets were the same with custom inside padding, a variety of oxygen rigs, microphones, and avionics different for each usage.
